I once received an
email from a fan that made a connection between Ki'aja and Denny's restaurants or something like that. As much as I wish
the hostesses/waiting staff in Denny's resembled Ki'aja, she was in no way inspired by any
manner of man or beast I happened upon in Denny's. Her character design
was conceived during a lunch at Perkins, but no staff
members were involved. The whole waiter conversation
did get me to start considering some back story
for her, though.. but it's all pretty
sketchy still. All I know is she looks like
the very obedient type who's quick to follow orders.. Aww, she's pouting, how cute. ^_^
