Treasure
Box was created in October of 2000, our first (and probably
last, due to the legal issues associated with fanart) parody doujinshi.
It featured comics based on three video games, Zelda, Chrono
Trigger and Lunar, some of our favorite RPGs of all time. ^^
Since the print run was so small, only a select few were able
to get a copy. Therefore, for your enjoyment I now present you
with the Chrono Trigger portion of the comic, titled
"Sweet Sacrifice". Unfortunately, the screen tone
doesn't look quite as nice in jpg format as it does on paper.
A special new color cover was created especially for the website release of this comic. Enjoy!
The printed version of the comic consisted of 36 black and white pages (digital screen tone) and color front and back
covers. The doujinshi was professionally bound and printed to have the look and feel of an authentic Japanese doujinshi.
Thanks to the amazing talent of Michelle, our writer, the stories had a lot more substance than your average
h-comic, something I hope you'll appreciate. ^^
The Lunar portion attempts to explain how the birth of Dark Althena came about. The story is bittersweet, but offered a
great deal of insight on Luna's struggles while locked away in the Grindery.
Meanwhile, the Chrono Trigger section was more lighthearted and playful, illustrating what we think happened to the
whereabouts of Schala. I won't spoil this part for you, you'll just have to read
the comic. ^_-
